At Paws Gourmet Bakery, we believe shipping should be simple, predictable, and designed to ensure your treats arrive in excellent condition.  We ship exclusively using FedEx Ground Services to the 48 contiguous United States.  Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii are processed via USPS Priority Shipping.  Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally.

Whether you're ordering for a retail storefront or treating your favorite pup at home, our shipping programs are designed to provide clear costs and reliable delivery expectations from the moment your order is placed.

Wholesale Accounts

Wholesale shipping rates are based on your order value and delivery region using our zoned flat-rate shipping program. Rates are displayed at checkout and are designed to provide predictable shipping costs regardless of carrier fluctuations.

Direct-to-Consumer Orders

Consumer orders ship anywhere in the continental United States for a flat rate of $15 per order.

Orders over $100 qualify for FREE SHIPPING, making it even easier to stock up on your pup's favorite treats.

🥖 Production & Lead Times

Freshness takes time, and we believe it's worth the wait.  Every order is handcrafted in small batches to ensure quality and freshness.

Unlike mass-produced pet treats that may spend months sitting on warehouse shelves, many of our decorated treats are baked and finished specifically for customer orders. This approach allows us to maintain the quality, appearance, and freshness standards that define the Paws Gourmet Bakery experience.

Orders Containing Decorated Treats

Most orders containing decorated treats ship within 7–10 business days.

Orders Containing Only Non-Decorated Treats

Orders consisting exclusively of non-decorated treats typically ship within 3–10 business days.

Peak Season Production

During periods of exceptionally high demand—including major industry events such as Global Pet Expo and SuperZoo, as well as seasonal holidays including Halloween and Christmas—production lead times typically increase by approximately one additional week.

Customers planning for specific events, promotions, or seasonal inventory needs are encouraged to order as early as possible during these busy periods.

🎨 Custom Treat Orders

One of our favorite things to create is custom treats designed specifically for your business, event, or special occasion.

Because new custom projects require design development, proof approval, and production scheduling, please allow an additional 5–7 business days beyond our standard production timelines when planning a new custom design.

The faster approvals are received, the faster we can move your project into production and work toward your desired delivery timeline.

Once a custom design has been approved, we retain the artwork and production specifications on file, making future reorders faster and easier by eliminating the need for additional design approvals.

🌡️ Warm Weather Shipping

Decorated treats require special consideration during warmer months.

While our decorative coating has a melting point of approximately 102°F, it can begin to soften when temperatures consistently reach 85°F or higher.

To help protect product quality during transit, our shipping program automatically incorporates Cold Packs whenever destination temperatures are forecast to consistently exceed 85°F. These protective measures have been built into our shipping structure, eliminating the need for customers to manually add Cold Packs during checkout.

For customers located in Zone 5 or destinations experiencing prolonged temperatures above 105°F, standard ground shipping may not provide sufficient protection for decorated treats. In these situations, an upgrade to FedEx Express Saver® may be required to help ensure product quality upon arrival.

When extreme weather conditions exist, our team may contact you to discuss available shipping options before your order is released for production.

📦 Product Protection During Transit

Every order is carefully packaged to help minimize damage during shipping.

If your order arrives with damaged products, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the affected items. We'll review the issue and work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.

❄️ Weather & Seasonal Delays

Weather events, carrier disruptions, and extreme temperatures can occasionally impact shipping schedules.

When conditions have the potential to affect product quality or delivery reliability, we may adjust shipping schedules to protect your order. While this can occasionally add a day or two to transit timing, it helps ensure your treats arrive in the condition you expect.

🌎 Alaska & Hawaii

Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii are fulfilled via USPS Priority Mail and are calculated separately at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and destination.
