Paws Gourmet Bakery's story began in 2006, when a Seattle-area couple founded Paws Gourmet Inc. and introduced a line of handcrafted dog treats that quickly developed a loyal following throughout the Pacific Northwest.

In 2017, when the founders retired, our family was presented with an opportunity that felt uniquely aligned with our values. As owners of two independent natural pet food stores, we had spent years helping pet parents make informed decisions about nutrition, ingredients, and overall wellness. We believed the bakery's proven recipes provided the perfect foundation for something even bigger.

After acquiring the company, we renamed it Paws Gourmet Bakery and began transforming it into what it is today: a premium bakery focused on simple, healthy ingredients, environmental responsibility, and supporting independent pet retailers.

While much has changed over the years, our mission remains remarkably simple: create treats we feel good about feeding our own dogs while helping independent pet businesses thrive.
